WA transition to NCC 2022 energy efficiency provisions - Amendment 1

The WA Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) have provided the following advice regarding the adoption of NCC 2022 (Amendment 1) in WA from 1 May 2025.

Following the ABCB’s recent announcements regarding the application of NCC 2022 Amendment 1, Building and Energy now has some certainty around what is happening with the application of the energy efficiency requirements for NCC 2022 in WA.

 

NCC 2022 Amendment 1 is set to take effect on 1 May 2025, which coincides with the mandatory adoption of NCC 2022 in WA.
