NCC 2025 heralds an amendment to the Elemental Deemed to Satisfy Eave Lengths calculations.
Table Notes have been added to NCC 2025 which should have been included in NCC 2022 to make application of Insulation requirement tables with regard to eave projections more reasonable.
Accordingly, it is now considered acceptable to use this guidance when also considering NCC 2022 Elemental DtS compliance assessments.

The restriction on Roof Lights of 5% max of floor area served is a hard cutoff in Elemental DtS assessments.
Expert Opinion/Performance Solution assessment will need to come into play if Roof Lights exceed the limit or the client may be happy to reduce the size to suit.
