Assessor Question:
I have a job that has fibreglass roofing to some areas. Can this be modelled in NatHERS software and is it allowed?

- Fibreglass or acrylic roofing may be used as veranda/pergola cover.
- Product-specific SHGC performance values can be used to define the seasonal shading percentage.
- If the fibreglass is over an internal zone, it would equate to a roof light with a very poor U-value.
- As such, it is likely to deliver an unacceptably low thermal-performance result.
